President & CEO As President and CEO, Phil Mitman helps to foster new initiatives. He provides a vital link among our investors, elected officials, leaders in private industry and the public. Jean Mateff
 Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer Jean Mateff is responsible for internal administration and human resources duties. She oversees the budget, cash flow and audits and advises the CEO. She ensures that spending is aligned with the strategy developed by the Board and partners.

Vice President of Fund Development and Business Relations With nearly 30 years experience in community affairs, corporate support and fundraising at Air Products and Bethlehem Steel, Bob Bilheimer works to augment and advance LVEDC’s private-sector relations and fundraising initiatives.

John Kingsley
 Vice President of Economic Development Finance John Kingsley, Vice President of Economic Development Finance, is in charge of growing a process that provides more than two dozen low-interest, fixed-rate loan programs to Lehigh Valley businesses and companies looking to locate, expand and grow here.

Pete Reinke
 Vice President of Regional Development As Vice President of Regional Development, Pete Reinke connects consultants and regional real estate brokers and developers with appropriate sites and financial incentives. He keeps our relationships strong with our economic development partners throughout the Lehigh Valley by assisting them with deals and works with local planners to promote urban development.

Margaret McConnell
 Vice President of Marketing & Communication Margaret McConnell is responsible for developing marketing strategies, tactics and programs to meet the organizational objectives of attracting, retaining and expanding businesses in the region. Her job is to ensure the right mix of features, positioning and visibility. She strengthens our partnerships with other organizations for continuity of message in branding the region.

Stephen Melnick
 Vice President of Entrepreneurial Development Steve Melnick wears two hats. As Director of Project Development he helps governments navigate the complex world of economic development. As Coordinator of the Southside Bethlehem Keystone Innovation Zone he works with its partners to retain young talent and help them turn ideas into companies. Steve also coordinates the Keystone Opportunity Zone.

Robert Wendt
Director of Research & Coordinator of the Business Retention and Expansion Program Bob Wendt also wears two hats. As Director of Research he compiles and analyzes the data that power modern economic recruitment and expansion. As Coordinator of the state-funded Business Retention and Expansion Program he and his team visit more than 800 regional companies a year to determine their financing and other needs.

 Office of Minority and Women Owned Businesses As the Director of the Office of Minority and Women-Owned Businesses, Eduardo Eichenwald works with many of the regional organizations, such as the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Tri-City Afro-American Chamber, to help increase the number of start-up businesses in the region and assist in the retention and sustainability of existing businesses.

Regional Development Manager As the Regional Development Manager, Jarrett Witt has a foot in several worlds — attracting, retaining and growing businesses.
